Do you still have your first hen/rooster?

I do! my rooster... I got him about 3 years ago and he's like 7years old now.... so who else has their first hen/roo?

I don't have my first roo, unfortunately.

I kept my chickens free-ranging back then, and I think a predator eventually got him. I do still have a hen from the first clutch of chicks ever hatched from my own chickens, though! She's around eleven or twelve years old now and still going strong!

She's the aforementioned first rooster's daughter, actually.

I don't have my very first one (I started with three that were a few weeks old), but I do have one that I got after having those three for a few weeks. I got her and another RIR at the same time, but her companion was killed by a feral cat at about 12wks old.

We still have 2 of our first hens! The rooster is their off spring!They will be 4. Still lay just about everyday!

Yes, I have my original Key West roo, Smokey. I caught him when he was a few days old, along with his mom and 6 siblings. I dont have any of the others, but Smokes is about 10 now,best roo I've ever had. And he still digs the ladies!

I don't have any from first batch of chicks anymore.

Omelet my Red Cochin Frizzle was the last from my first but sadly she died a few months ago from the unknown deadly disease.

I still have my first lady-girl, but my very first roo, her mate, died last summer. I've got his son though, my first girl's son!
