Do you supervise your chickens?

I kind of supervise my chickens, but I can never leave them out when I am not home because we have too many barn cats around me that would consider them dinner. When I let them out I check on them every couple of hours and also in the nice weather let my dogs keep an eye on them. It's like sheep dogs guarding their herd, but instead its bird dogs guarding their flock... LOL
