Do you switch from crumbles to pellets?

Do any of you start your CX on crumbles, and then switch to pellets?

We are getting the next batch of CX next week and I am working on my feed list. We have all the ducks & layers on pellets because I think they waste less with that compared to crumbles. I was thinking of getting enough crumbles for the first 3 weeks or so then then rest in pellet form. That way any leftover could be used for the ducks, or young pullets. BTW, it's the same feed, just one pellets form and one ground, same price also.

I always feed pellets if the feed I want comes in that form. Far less waste. Meat bird food is hard to find in pellets, if you can get I would recomend using it.

Thanks. Thats kinda what I was thinking, just didn't know if they would take to the switch.

I have had a little trouble in the past converting my birds from crumbles to pellets. My layers were a much bigger problem than my meaties though.
