Do you think she’ll be laying soon?

This is my 16 week barred rock. She seems pretty red it to me. Do you think she will be laying soon? My girls are still on a grower feed, should I get some oyster shells in case she is ahead of the rest of them?

She'll likely start in the next few weeks. I wouldn't worry about oyster shell or switching onto layer feed until they're all pretty much laying. Even if she would start laying she won't lay consistent enough to require extra calcium for some time.

You could, just put it in a separate feeder.
