I think most silkies are ugly. (Sorry!)

However I think partridge silkies, specifically, are awfully cute. Sort of like a chicken version of Peter Cottontail. Go figure

I always thought silkies were the ugliest chickens around. They dont even look like real chickens, but I saw a picture of partridge silkies the other day and now I want some of them real bad. I'm also partial to the partridge coloring on all breeds of chickens

well, it depends on the bird, breeder ans show quality birds are beautiful, dont care what anyone says, but now, old junk hatchery or backyard birds that most are use too, yes they look like an electrocuted buzzard. Get a good quality one and you'll change you opinions!

I would like to pet one sometime because they look soft and fluffy. However, I don't think they look like chickens. If I want soft and fluffy, I will get a bunny. Know what I mean?

I'm not going to vote because I think they are ok. I raise quail and turkeys so my opinion of "good looking fowl" may be askew

I will say this though. A couple weeks ago my blue splash silkie roo started attacking my wife. (I laughed) How can a silkie attack a person? Well, yesterday he got an attitude with me
