Do you think Silkies are ugly?

Let me qualify that statement:
Silkie without a haircut: Just too stupid-looking, bordering on ugly.
With haircut: Cute

Silkies are definetely the silliest-looking creatures ever! I have 2 and they just crack me up whenever I see them walking around the yard. Or even worse: Running

I think they have a bad case of the exactly's, their heads look exactly like their (name for a donkey). I got 2 hens a blue bearded and a white bearded, they never laid even tho I got both as babies, both have been sitting on an empty nest for 2 months now.....I don't think they are ugly, they can be cute but dumber then a box of rocks running into things. Not one of my favorite breeds. They'd make a great dust mop.

No way! A good quality silkie is the cutest little thing ever!!! I agree that hatchery silkies can be homely.

I think they are the cuttiest. I love how mine hops when she's in a hurry. I'm ready to bring in my silky and throw out my cat!!. At least the silky wouldn't scratch my furniture up lol.

I don't like them, but my husband does. We just ordered a bantam assortment and he's hoping for Silkies and Frizzles while I'm hoping for D'Uccles and Old English Games! Apparently he has a thing for poodle-chickens.

I can't see what all the hype is with this breed. They are almost as ugly as the NN. I don't even think the chicks are cute..
