Do you think these two eggs are fertile?

Hi,

I have an active Silkie rooster as a king to all the hens. He has been mating with the Isa Browns too. I couldn’t tell if he is successful. Do you think these two yolks are fertile? I tried my best for the shots.

Also, do you think Silkie crossed Isa Brown would be good layers?

Good job on the pictures. I usually can't tell from pictures but it looks like the first yolk is fertile, the second one is not.

Well, that cross is likely to be more productive than a pure silkie.

I guess the size of the spot is what confuses me but I don't see a clear darker center in the spot that would indicate fertile.

They both look fertile to me but I'm no expert. I can't wait to see what your chicks look like.
