Do you use a hatcher?

Wow! Nice set-ups everyone!! Gee, I'm only a small-time hatcher.
Cmom, how easy is it to clean the hovabator? My homemade incubator is really easy to clean. I'm just wondering if I should eventually go to a hovabator as a hatcher.

I use my LG as the incubator and my homemade as the hatcher.

THough I have had to use the homemade as both. WHen I hear peeping I stick in wet sponges and turn the eggs, then wait. I turn 3 times a day opening the lid, checking the sponges and pulling out dry chicks. THe chicks do well in my homemade. Quick to pip and zip.Most in just a few hours. Only one of 30+ needed assistance to hatch.

I don't know anything about the model you are asking about. Sorry.

I use a hova-bator with fan and auto turner for a incubator and a Bellsouth b100 for a hatcher. The bad thing about my set up is that the hova-bator is easier to clean.

It isn't in the greatest shape and its about an hour away. I offered him $250 and he said he was firm on the price. He will have it for a while! The ones I saw this summer on craigslist were between $150-$300 and most were in really good shape! I would like to go to GFQ but mine work well and the only think I do not like about mine is the doors. I want the clear doors.

I don't have a pic of my latest styrofoam hatcher which looks very much like the one cmom posted. This is a pic of the first homemade that we had to throw together in a couple of hours because with our first order of shipped eggs, we had no idea that the seller would add so many extras. At the time we only had a Brinsea mini advance, so DH made me this in a jiffy.
