This is Skittles. He disappeared a year ago tomorrow. I still miss him lots.

Off topic, but I just wanted to respond to this. Last year, my favorite barn cat went missing. I trained him myself and he was a Great barn cat.

Last week my neighbor finally confessed to having kidnapped him. Or, as he put it, "Well, he was the friendliest thing and good at catching mice, so I put out food and locked him in the shed so he wouldn't leave."

While I realize that it's not a huge comfort, your poor cat is probably being held hostage at a neighbors house. It wasn't a huge comfort to me, but it was better than the things I'd been imagining.

I was going to leave off the end of the story for good reason.

First, it was a new neighbor. He's new to country life and hadn't met us. He just saw that we had three cats that live outdoors. To him it looked like a bad life for a cat. (my cats have a hand built house on the front porch plus garage access)

But, when he finally decided that my cat should be happy enough to stay and he let it out of the shed, it scratched him and took off for the hills. No one has seen it since.

But at least after coming over to meet us he finally admitted and apologized for kidnapping my cat.

Omg thank you. I appreciate that. I would love for you to enter your photos bc I would love to draw them. It just might take me a bit to get to yours bc I have a good amount ahead of you but please enter
