I’ve got Cochins, a BCM, Salmon Faverolles, a Silkie, and Wheaten Ameraucanas (who should be laying soon!). This year I’m getting more Marans (as mine doesn’t lay a very dark egg), White Bresse, Swedish Hedemora, and breeding my flock for Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers (including Favaucanas). I’m expecting the rainbow next spring

I just went over our prospective chick orders for this spring with my DH. No blue layers this time, probably next year.

Or maybe this summer. He suggested trying to trade with someone once these chicks are ready to go out.
