Do your birds "pay for themselves"?

Does anyone raise pigeons in such a manner as they pay for their own up keep/feed? I'd be interested in knowing how, if you do! I need to relieve the wallet!

I am hoping it may happen to me but the answer is still NO. I am trying to get a white dove release business off the ground (no pun intended) but I yet to have one paying customer.

i also just traded some pairs of young performing breeds, tumblers, parlors, and flying flights, for a few hopefully decent pairs of white racing line homers, that the guy was just breeding the ones he got to sell young for "white dove release". i already have had people wanting to buy some, and rent them for occassions. unfortunately im not set up for breeding young to rent out or sell too soon. i got mine very cheap for area especially, and offered two to four times what i paid already, so hoping the three pairs can all show ability to produce fertile eggs soon.
