do your chickens get bored with their food?

I was just wondering the same thing this weekend - about whether chickens just get bored with the same old thing.

My 5 girls are even tired of grapes, yogurt, lettuce, tomatos, mixed wild bird seed, and pumpkin seeds. They used to go nuts over those things. Now they just look to see if I've got something else better in the basket. Spoiled!

If your chickens are turning their noses (beaks) at grapes, just add fresh organic yogurt in with the grapes and they'll be eating them in no time. Trust me. Mine are debeaked also and have no problem with chopped grapes and yogurt.

They expect it every afternoon around 4 ish

mine LOVE grapes!! they also really like pears and sometimes ill throw a live shiner in the coop THEY LOVE IT

grapes: hopefully they will avoid the seeds (so do chop them up so they CAN avoid ingesting them)...same with appleseeds. Tannins can inhibit digestive enzymes, bind protein, and reduce the bioavailability of vitamin B12 and iron.5 Additionally, at high levels, tannins can cause epithelium and liver damage

I always buy the red seedless grapes. I thought I heard on here about the seeds! Good point.
