We have had snow on the ground for over a week now and my chickens do not like it. I have shoveled out their run so they can go out but if I open the door for them to free range they just look at me like, no way. Yesterday they actually go brave enough to cross from one cleared area to the next and got to our barn. They did not want to cross back over the snow when it was time to go in though. It was like they forgot that they had already walked on it. Oh well, guess they will stay in their run until either the snow melts or I shovel them a path.
