About a month ago when we got 2 ft of snow here (about 100 miles south and 1500 ft higher than you) my rooster and one of my turkey hens decided to fly out of the coop a few days after the storm (the roo disappeared completely and my turkey disappeared up to her eyeballs). The marks they made "swimming" through the snow back to the coop look almost exactly like yours lol. They didn't come out again for several days and I noticed that after yesterday's snows they walked out MUCH more cautiously this time!
love the picture!!! Mine will not set foot in the snow.....they will only go in the covered run that has sand, dirt and leaf mulch and NO white stuff on the ground - tough, 'cause we live in WI...
