Yup, mine will even stay out in a good rain. In a heavy rain, they run for cover but still end up looking like wet cats. (pathetic)

Rain is good, hose is evil.

Some of mine do and some don't. I've noticed that the younger chickens are the ones that tend to brave the weather more than the older ones. When it's bad weather, most of the older chickens stay up in the coop on the roosts and only come down briefly to get a bite to eat.

Every one of mine were wet in some degree last night when I closed them in for the night. They were so wet they didnt even go up to the top rung of the roost in which there is always a battle for. My coop is raised up 2ft and is 8x8 so they can be outside and not be in the weather but nope more fun to be in the rain. But their method to their madness is that rain will drive those protein filled yummy worms from the ground. Maybe they aren't so stupid.

Little boy Timmy was six and he thought wet cold Chloe needed a cuddle. But Chloe doesn't care. She loves being out in the rain!

I used to put up the heat lamp for days that they got all wet in the snowy winter. But I don't think I will anymore, I always feared frostbite so I wouldn't let them go to sleep with wet heads. Now I have a covered hoop run so they won't be ABLE to get their heads all wet in the winter! They love to putz around in the rain.

Maybe because they're such hot little birdies?

Mine play in the rain a little. They puff themselves all up, I think its funny! I was told that they get mites if they get wet, so our first rain storm after we got them, I was getting Soaked trying to get all of them into the coop. Because I decided that under the coop wasn't dry enough! Apparently the mite thing isn't true? Idk, they do like the rain though.
