Do your hens always pick the same spot on the roosting bar at night?

When your hens go to the roosting bar, do they always pick the same position on the roosting bar?

Most of the time, yes. My cockerel will only allow my BR's to roost next to him, so that is how they start.

Not always, but most of the time 5 are on the lower roost bar and 1 on the upper roost bar. Every once in a while there will be 4 on the lower bar or they go 3 and 3, but most nights one of the RIRs is on the upper bar and the rest on the lower bar.

Yes and no. My Ameracauna is always in the coop first and takes the same spot, the others (Marans and a mixed roo) switch around a bit. Sometimes they seem to pick the same spot for a few days before roosting in another spot.
