Do your Roosters call hens for snacks?

What I find to be hilarious is when I bring treats into the run, throw it around and my roo (Roody - I know, how original ), comes running over and clucks for the girls as if HE provided the sustenance! I let him have his moment; the food being from me stays between him and I. I guess you can say I’m his “wing man.”

Mine does this, then he watches his girls eat. I can't remember ever seeing him eat any of the goodies unless the girls are completely finished.
