8 new babies
5 more to come, anyway...

Thank you, Beth! You have horrible weather there today, don't you? I saw that on the news. Be safe, and take care!

Congratulations.......

Your doing a great job with those little ones.

Keep the pictures coming.....

Love to see the little fuzzies.

I am considering a video cam to watch the bator, in the spring. I think Alaska is too cold for winter hatches and this house has many drafts! lol

So until early spring, these threads are as close to hatching as I get......

Well, the hatch is about finished. Not a good hatch. I have:

9 out and fluffy
4 finishing up

6 clear
4 early quitters (before day 10)
3 late quitters (probably at lockdown?)
2 died after pipping ... ???

So, 13 it is .... out of 22 fertile eggs ... yuk

That's not counting the 6 clear eggs.

I will get pictures shortly. I have some other chicken matters to tend to, as well.

For shipped eggs that's really not too bad! better than 50%. So Congratulation on the new fuzzy butts!!

How did you like hatching in the carton? Any problems with it?
