Does a black mass in a turkey egg mean it is fertile and an embryo is forming inside?

I currently have 12 eggs in a incubator I have candled them at day 12 only 3 of the 12 has what appears to have something forming inside as the other ones are just clear and obviously nothing growing inside, I have not seen any blood veins in the ones that appears to be fertile, what I am seeing is just a rather large air sack, black mass that takes up a good portion of the egg and a little bit of clear, are they rotten or am I lucky to get some fertilized eggs.

Sounds like they are rotten. Tilt the eggs bag and forth while candling. If the dark area changes levels with the egg movement they are most likely rotten.

It is pretty solid does not move at all, the other eggs from the same batch are clear as day.
