I would suggest plymouth rocks or Wyandottes. Both quiet, good layers that will lay for a long time, friendly, not flighty, and only occasionally go broody. They both come in a variety of colors also, if you want to be able to tell thrm apart.
PR: Barred, partridge & white are most common
Wyandotte: Gold laced, silver laced, blue laced, and Columbian most common.
I like to be able to tell mine apart in case someone is acting “off”.
Also, although there is nothing wrong with hybrid sex links, they usually lay a lot for a year or two and then can start getting sick from reproductive issues. Just wanted to let you know, maybe you prefer tons of eggs all at once and would want to get rid of them once they stop laying. I suggested heritage breeds because they tend to live longer and lay eggs for many years. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule and different situations!
