Does a turkey have to be slaughtered?

Excellent. Thanks folks. I think there may be a turkey in the yard soon. silkieluver_07 that's one beautiful birdie. For some reason, my BF is totally opposed to peacocks, but mention a turkey and he's like putty in my animal obsessed hands. I guess turkeys are just manlier.

I have about 16 turkeys, mostly Bourban Reds, Buffs and one or two blue & royal palm. They follow me around like a turkey parade and beg for attention. They are all pets. I have a few more in the bator, why,I don't know.LOL anyone want some pet turkeys.....HaHa:ya

If you have a problem with Blackhead(a disease) in your area, it is best to keep your turkeys and your chickens seperated. Most people keep their turkeys and chickens near, if not with each other without any problems at all.
