Hi All! I have 27 Cornish Crosses going for processing in a couple of weeks. I bought a Foodsaver recently & am wondering whether they'll fit in the bags, or if I should pay a little extra to have them cut up. Since I didn't really want to chase them around holding a bag up to them, I thought I'd better ask advice. How does everyone store meat in the freezer? Thanks for the help!

Yup, they fit! The good thing about food saver bags...make them the size you want. I put mine in food saver bags...and they processed out at between 4 and 6 pounds each!

They'll fit. But like you said, they'll be pushing against the sides pretty hard if you grown them too big. I've had 8+ roasters that did not fit. There is a sticky link up top that has the name of a shrink wrap bag product you can use instead for larger beasts.
