Sure looks like it. I LOVE his name! LOL

I have two Muscovy drakes with Angel wing, and their wings are out to the sides like that too.

Did you raise him or get him from someone like that? Just curious. On mine, I raised one and he ended up with it, and the other I got as an adult, and he already had it.

Even if it is Angel Wing that Airbus has, he's still a pretty boy!!

Probably too late to help him, but you can do a search on Angel Wing (on here and on Google). I have seen directions on how to wrap their wings to help them hold them in while they grow properly. At his size/age though, I imagine it would be very difficult to get him to tolerate the wrappings. I decided with Charlie, my Muscovy drake, to not try and do so as he was older and fully feathered when I finally found out that Angel Wing can be corrected, if caught early enough. I did try and wrap his wings once or twice, and he absolutely hated it. I was afraid he would hurt himself trying to get the wraps off.

THe angel wing doesn't hurt them. With Charlie, my muscovy, it just means he cannot fly. Other than that, he is a normal duck.

Hopefully, someone with more experience will be along to help answer your questions.

Take care,
Kathy

Probably too late to tape the wings, however worth a try-you can do it in stages. Do you know how to do it? You need to try it PRONTO!

I felt the same way about Charlie. He wasn't quite that feathered out, or that big, but he hated the wrap and I was really worried he would hurt himself trying to get it off. I only tried it properly once, and then I started once again, and he was just too upset, so I decided not to worry about it. He's fine like he is. His wings just stick out. Who knows, though, Airbus may be fine with the wrap and not worry with it. If so, you may be able to help him. The only way to know for sure is try it, if you really want to, or just decide it's a part of who he is, and accept him for it and not worry about it!!

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Kathy

I wrapped my goose's wing (as she has angel wing) and she began to destroy feathers on the other side of her body. And they are blood feathers, so she started to bleed dangerous amounts. She stopped doing it after I removed the bandage. I don't mind if her wing looks awkward - I don't want to wake up to find her bleeding to death.
