Hi, I am a new chicken owner and trying to find the best quality food for the best price. We are somewhat limited on whats available in our area. We of course have Purina and Organic Pride (which I am using right now although not happy that the first two ingredients are corn and soy). I was hoping to find a organic layer pellet, this was the only one I found locally. I liked the ingredient list better for the Ablers layer, corn and soy being farther down the list so not the main ingredients, but its not organic! I just don't know what to do? Any suggestions?

Our feed stores sell Albers, Nutrena, and Purina. I've always fed Purina Layena so I can't help you with the Albers other than to say I've seen plenty of people buying it.

mikecnorthwest, so why do you choose Purina over the other choices if you don't mind me asking?
