Does anybody else do this?

Does anybody else tuck their chickens in at night? I always give kisses and cuddles when I have time <3 ^_^

I agree. My girls have already "gone to bed" by the time I think about it. I love my girls, so occasionally, I will pick them up and give them a kiss. Who wouldn't!

I would worry about getting my eye pecked out.

Right on fellow chicken cuddeler! =D My girls are so sweet and docile at night! <3 Only one gets mad if i try to move her over or something. <3

I sing a song (same song that they've heard since they were chicks) every evening when I scoop the run, clean the feeders, and tidy up the area. They all go into the coop and hop onto the roost one at a time. -hilarious!! I talk to each bird before leaving the coop. -cracks up the hubby! One evening I was away at their roost time. -hubby informed me when I arrived home that the lead hen was still in the run looking for me. -walked out, sang her the song, and she went promptly into the coop and hopped atop her roost. HA!!

I don't kiss and cuddle them but I do check them over. Beak to butt, I make sure all is well.

I put all my gals and 1 guy to bed every night and when they hear me coming out the door to put the feed up the two youngest ones run out so they can get a snack with no bosses around. My hubby and I pet and hold them most ever night. We only have 6 but am wanting to get a couple more

My roo doesn't appreciate my kisses much but the hens do! And deff. get more chickens! I told myself when I got my first babies "I'm only going to get 4 or 5 at the most" and now I have 11 and am looking into more chickens and probably a turkey or too!
