Does Anybody here Know Sign Language?

My Dad ( who is ALWAYS and i Mean ALWAYS right ) Says, And Heard , That if you Study 40 Hours Straight on somthing, You become an expert.

I have never heard that. I have heard that if you practice something 38 times at different times then you will understand to the fullest that one thing. So maybe 40 hours per sign?

I know a little bit of conversational sign language--learning from a couple of females at work, plus I try to learn through books & flash cards. That sight someone posted is awesome!
Maybe that's what I'll do when I retire from this job...be a translator or teacher!

Maybe i Will Be a Teacher... I CAN make a good Salary. How much Should I Charge for A lesson, With the Kids in my Neighborhood?

I know sign language, familiar with English Sign Language than American Sign Language but does both. Been doing that for almost 40 years.

(raising hand) I am deaf.

I took a course in SEE, but have lost much of it sadly due to disuse. My teacher developed Parkinson's and moved back to the USA so we never did get into ASL. I loved learning it, and wish I had the chance to learn more.
