And I totally get the "$100 dress" bit. I had the same - in fact, I bought my dress at a Mexican store around the corner from my house, about 3 days before the wedding. I was supposed to have a dress made for me but the dressmaker (a friend) had broken her wrist. So, DH was wearing an Italian tuxedo, and I was wearing a simple dress from the neighborhood store. But, we're still going strong after 6 years.

So glad that you found someone who gets you and loves you for who you are! The wedding ceremony is honestly the least important part of a marriage - it's everything that happens *after* that matters. All the "little things". And sounds like you two are going to get the "little things" right. Congratulations!
