Looks like a pullet to me. I'm not seeing pointy saddle/hackle feathers. The comb looks appropriately sized for the age.

Its a cockerel you can see gold saddle feathers coming in along the sides if you look really close.

I have some Marans much younger than that and their combs are alot more pronounced.
