I just ate some apples the neighbor gave me for the chickens...does that make me a bad person?
In my defense...I didn't have a knife to cut it in pieces, so I had to take a bite out of each one before I threw it in the run.
they were very tasty, cant believe the neighbors didn't eat them. Oh, yeah, the chickens loved them too!

Speaking of sampling that for which is for our feathered friends:
When I was younger, my dad would often bring home old bread from the store for the chickens because it was passed its best-before-date. My brother and I would compete for the rights to toss it into the run. One day our parents were watching us through the window as we sat together, ripping off the crusts and feeding it to the birds while eatting the centers. Little did we know that some of the loaves of bread were old enough to grow mould, although I don't think we ever actually ingested any...

I read the title, and thought "Well, yes I do"!

I also do that all the time, and to the TV, to the plants, to the birds, to myself, to the pots and pans, just all the time. Hubbo does it out loud.
