Does anyone forage for your chickens?

My chickens won't eat greens?? I mean, they eat grass in the run, but if I pull grass, dandelions, radish tops, cabbage leaves and call them over, they look at me like I played a cruel trick. Some of them will even wipe their beak on the ground like it was nasty. I did have a squash split open, so tossed it in and they at the seeds and "innards" of that...but nothing else other than black berries and boiled eggs.
