Does anyone have a "playhouse coop" or look alike?

Great minds must think alike--or those playhouse coops are just so cute that everyone wants one. We have been working on our playhouse knock-off for a couple of weekends now and have a similar footprint and material plan. I will post pics and dimensions tomorrow.
We are going for the raccoon and hurricane proof coop, so we dug holes and filled with concrete for the foundation posts and then lined the floor and sides with the hardware cloth.
So far we have done a little dumpster diving, but are already up to almost $300--I was hoping to do it for less.
The big ticket item was the big roll of 1/2 inch hardware cloth ($69) and we have a lot, but will be able to make the run and possibly some portables out of it. We did get a tar paper and roofing nail donation and nail gun loan that all have been incredibly helpful!
If you have until spring then you could post on Craig'slist and check out the 'free' area and possibly find some of what you need. I know if we had more time that we could have done it a little cheaper. I saw shingles at our Habitat for Hum. Resale store for a good price too.
Hope this helps!

There's a really cute playhouse on EBay that I would love to buy, but I'm having a hard time convincing DH that we need to spend $350. on a chicken coop. He swears he could build me the same thing for less $$, but I've heard that song before and it never ends the way he says it will. Don't get me wrong, he does great work, he just never gets it done as cheaply as he thinks he will.

Here's my chicken coop with the playhouse from Lowes. It is 4'x4'x6' tall. the stilts add an additional 2' to the height.

Here is a peek at the inside - I don't have a really wide angle lens to get a good shot, so this is as good as it gets

It holds my 5 hens comfortably - you could do six if the hens are a tolerant type. The run is a 6 sided dog run that is 5'x10'...and made a little bigger by attatching it to the henhouse at the corners to allow the girls access underneath the house as well as making the available run area bigger.
