Does anyone have any idea what did this damage?

hello everyone, I planted these mum's in the garden to add a little colour for the fall but something is eating the flower heads off? I don't know what it could be. I looked it up and it said earwigs but do they do that kind of damage? I thought it could be either rabbits or voles ...maybe birds are trying to eat the seeds? I didn't think anything would eat mums.

I'm stumped...I should buy another trail camera really. I know black and grey squirrels will eat green tomatoes thanks to trail cam footage.( we are sharing with my mother inlay)

This would be my #1 guess.

The deer ate almost all the apples off my trees and tomatoes off the vine. Our area was in drought and they seem to get desperate.
