I would prefer orpingtons, or silkies... maybe a columbian cochin roo. The columbian roo should be young.... Maybe even a splash jersey giant roo.... he can be anywhere from 6 months to a year.

Thank you all

hi there! i'm up in tacoma, so not too far from you.

i have two cockerels i'm looking for homes for - one blue and one splash orpington. they're almost 10weeks old. let me know if you might be interested in one of them.

I'm just a little ways South from you but I'm solidly into more productive birds. Do you want large fowl or banties? I'll ask a friend who is a 4-H leader if she knows of anyone with what you are looking for.

Ok so the Orpingtons are large fowl.... and the jersey giant of course is large fowl(splash).... the columbian cochin i believe is large fowl and the silkies i want in normal size.... so small. If possible i would like to spend as little money as possible.

Hi,

As far as the silkies go, there are only bantam size. You will not find any that are large fowl size. If you are looking to raise them for food, it will take you too long to raise them to a marketable size to be profitable.

i know silkies are only bantams but it was wierd trying to answer that question lol...... and none of these birds would be food..... oh and if even possible i would love them to be show quality... because the hens i have now are and i would like to keep it like that.
