Does anyone have experience with discrimination at work?

I'm thinking a sudden family emergency, or a short vacation. you never know how much you need someone until they are gone for a week.

I actually am going out of town for a family thing next week. Our first vacation, well not really vacation, but time off together with no stress, in 7 years yay

As the manager, can you send them home if they aren't working? Are you in charge of scheduling? Sounds like they are getting paid for nothing and it wouldn't change the amount of work you do if they were sent home. Perhaps if they missed a paycheck or tips they might take you a little more seriously.

Check and see if you are required to give two weeks notice. It would be a LOT more fun to just walk out the door one day and leave it to them.

Nope just in charge of keeping stuff running, but without any authority. I may have the title, but the bosses buddies he hired outrank me because they hang out at his house and drink. It's ok though I got a call from another job while I was at work earlier lol
