I don't have
most of the OCD things listed here. In fact, I am perfectly comfortable in a nice, mild chaos. I do have a few quirks though...
I need to be able to put one foot out from under the covers at night. It helps to regulate my temperature. Too hot, stick a foot out. Getting cool, pull said foot in.
I need to have water available at all times. I will not leave the house without water. Once I have water, I will not finish the water. Then I would not have any more water. Drives DP crazy as I will then put a bottle with 1/2 inch of water back in the fridge. It will be consumed eventually. Usually right before I need to grab another water.
I used to care about the toilet paper being hung the correct way (under). When DP and I got together, I had the horrible discovery that she was an "over" person. We battled it out for a few months, each switching the roll back to the way we liked it. I realized I had met the most stubborn person in the world when she one day installed a second TP hanger! (Of course, she picked the wrong one to be the "over" roll.) Now I don't even pay attention to which way it hangs.
I'm pretty easy going with regards to food, with the exception of a small matter with M&M's.
I'm still suspicious of the red ones.
When I was a kid, there was no such thing as a red M&M. The red dye was deemed hazardous by the food and drug administration. Then all of the sudden... red M&Ms were ok for consumption.
Why? Was a new, safer red dye discovered? Or maybe, just maybe, the corporate powers that be, pulled some strings and got the rules relaxed. A higher number of cancerous deaths, via red M&Ms, was now deemed acceptable in return for higher sales?
Mind you... I still eat the red ones. I'm just suspicious of them. But chocolate is chocolate!
The order is of no concern, other than not eating two red ones in a row, so as the noxious food coloring can be more safely metabolized by my liver.
