Is that for REAL? One waterer for 300 birds? I'll have a coop with 103 and can't imagine them all going to one little bowl...

A washing machine hose has the same connection as a garden hose, but the hose will have a female connector at both ends.

i didnt make my feeder myself but I use a 20lb dog feeder, works great and less spillage. $23 at TSC. I have it set up off the floor about 6 inches on a wood box.

I may also get the similar 5 gal waterer at some point.

Hi AMS3651,
Do you have the feeder screwed or bolted into the wooden block to keep it from tipping over, or have you found that the chickens don't get up on it?
