Does anyone have suggestion on Showmanship breeds?

OEGBs are good birds. They're smart, showy, and I think would make a nice choice for showmanship.
I read that they are aggressive, noisy, and flighty. Do you think that’s a common thing in them? I don’t want her to end up with a bird like that for showmanship...

Not really. I think it's a matter of perspective, to some extent---one person's "spirited" and "range wary" could be another's "aggressive, noisy, and flighty". My experience has been that they're trainable, sweet, and enjoy human company. Haven't had a human aggressive cock yet though it's always possible. I own three at the moment and one of them is a special pet that I admittedly spoil.

I also think people claim too much variance according to breed and not enough to the fact birds are different in their quirks and nasty bits. I've had a mean, aggressive silkie, and a really sweet one that's still the current flock leader because he's so good. There's some extremes, sure, but with the exception of *some of the games (not OEGBs, they've been bred down to pets) you can turn any breed into a good one. Not any bird, maybe, but I feel confident in saying any breed. Different lines also have different personalities.

*I do not have personal experience with them, but reportedly they're bred to not be man-fighters and only to go after other birds. I can't imagine that making a good bird for showing.

I don't know I'd recommend Seramas for your climate. They're enough smaller than the OEGBs (depending on class) that they would need heat in winter, and that's a pain. Of course, if she doesn't mind the extra heat/care then that wouldn't be an issue. I'd estimate my OEG bantams at about a pound and a half and they do well in winter with no heat. Well, except Jace, but she's just a wussy.

How much do you think they usually sell for?
