I have a Octagon 40, it is basically the same, but holds more eggs. It works great. I always get the best hatches when I use my octagon 40. The temp also holds steady.
Before I bought my Hova-Bator 1588 I asked about the Octagon 10, and I got at least two people who said they had it and that it worked fine for them.
Having used the Hova now for a few hatches, I'm glad I got it insteady. Being restricted to 10 eggs seems okay before you've actually gotten hooked, but I'd have been chomping at the bit to get more eggs going long before my full 21 days was over.
I think the Hova costs about the same amount -- with a turner -- but you can put a whole lot more eggs into it. And it works like a charm....
I've heard great things about the Octagon 20 and 40, but....they're 'spensive....
