Does anyone have tips to stop egg pecking???

They never eat the eggs, but will peck them. They are young layers, and we have tried ceramic eggs, but they still peck the real ones. Any tips?

Try putting some golf balls in there nesting boxes. Put 1 or 2 in.

Also wooden eggs. If they're painted make sure the paint is non-toxic.

Did they just start laying, like within the last week?
Does the pecking include them breaking the shell and eating the contents?
New layer will often 'curiosity peck' eggs.
Gather often replacing gathered eggs with fakies,
they should lose interest before too long.
