Does anyone here farm catfish? Saw it in a book...

That you can tank farm catfish pretty easily.

Curious if anyone does it.

I grew up on the river and I used to catch baby catfish and put them in my fish tank. It was a 55 gallon tank. They never got much bigger than when I first put them in, just maybe an inch longer in the 2 years I kept them in it. I finally put them in a pond because I thought the tank was stunting their growth.

That is my only experience...may not be the same thing you are talking about....
