the Lavender d'Uccle Booted Bantams as well as the Mille Fleurs. I'm told they aren't winter hardy but don't they know to stay where its warm i.e in the coop if its that cold? I'd really like to get a couple but I'd like to know if anyone in cooler climates has them...don't want to subject them to NE winters if they aren't cold hardy.

Well....I have a pair of mille fleur D'uccles out in the barn, from a mid summer hatch. I have them in a small pen while I finish my barn . They are the happiest, most content little buggers I've ever seen. She just started laying and lays 2 eggs in 3 days. I have 12 eggs in the bator from someone else and hope to have a nice flock by spring.
