Does anyone keep an egg journal?

They won't lay when they are molting or broody - so it won't necessarily mean they are sick if they stop laying eggs.

We keep a basic egg journal of how many come out of what pen. Also we can see if we are still gaining ground or losing. Last month was 1111 eggs. Yes you read that right.

Thanks Keljonma - being a newbie mom anything different sends me into a tizzy.

I'll keep this in mind in the future.

P.S. the bird doc was great, but I still think the folks round here know the real scoop on what's what.
