Does anyone know about captive Red breasted goose bonding and breeding behavior? I need help.

My female Red breasted goose is chasing my male and then they switch. Back and forth. They don't hurt one another but it doesn't look like courtship but I have never raised these beauties before.

Red breasted? Or is that Egyptian geese? @Overo Mare has some, I think? If she does, she might be able to give you some helpful info. As far as my geese experience (nine years with a different, more docile breeds), I've never seen anything like that before.

How old are they? How long have you had them? I'm wondering if maybe whoever sold them to you switched up bonded pairs.
From what I've heard red breasted geese are usually very nice birds.
