Does anyone know of a hatchery that will ship only 2-3 chicks at a time?

I'm looking to get several more chickens for my coop, I want to get something cool like a Phoenix and something else neat and different looking. They are a part of a petting farm so I like having the more unusual breeds people have never seen before. (They are mostly for looking at not being pet!)

Does anyone know of a hatchery that has lots of breeds that will ship only 2-3 at a time? I was thinking of waiting for TSC chick days but last time the most "unusual" ones they got were silkies, and I have 5 already.

you might try mypetchicken.com. they offer a three chick minimum depending on your location. but like i live in the boonies so i had to get 7 because shipping will take 3 days.

I would worry about the chicks getting cold with so few.

carefull chicken math does apply. i wanted 5 chicks, they said at least 7, 30 chicks later i closed my order. lol

My pet chicken ships small quantities using a heat pack I believe. Last year I wanted to order from them, but the shipping cost was prohibitive. I ended up checking craigslist and waiting for the early fairs of the year to see if anyone was selling anything unusual.

they only charged me 28 or 29 bucks flat rate and i think it was like 36 bucks for under 15 chicks.
