I'm located in Costa Rica and here they call them Gallinas Jardineras or "gardener/garden chickens." They're pretty good layers, smaller eggs with good size yolks, they apparently are good mothers because the little chicks we were gifted last week had to be snatched right out from under their mom. Oh, and they fly REALLY well. Closest thing I could find are Sebrights but they don't quite fit the bill and don't have the laced wings...
First picture features 3 of our 5 chicks...one on the left started to find his "crow" yesterday so we know we have at least one roo (hopefully no more) and the rest of the pictures are what they grow up to look like.
Thanks in advance, would love to learn more about the breed by finding out the name, if this even is a true breed...
