Poor sweet thing. She looks to be in ok health now- her feathers are nice and filled out. But yes, she is meant to be quite small.Thank you! I was worried she might be malnourished cause she seemed small and I rescued her from a horribly neglectful situation!

This shows how little vets actually know about sexing chickens. Tails at this age mean nothing, and both sexes get spur buds. Some hens even go on to grow spurs.
