I got some chicks from IFA and they were wrong about every breed. I figured out what most of them are except my two blue chickens. I was told they are blue wyondottes but they are so petite compared to my silver laced wyondottes that are the same age. Does anyone know if they are blue wyondottes? or if they are a different breed which breed are they? My blue chickens are 10 weeks old. The other two chickens are from a farm and the person I got them from was not sure what kind of chickens they are. I would like to know what breed they are so when we do add to our flock we will know which breeds we like. I'm also worried my blue chickens might not do well in the cold because they are so small. I would like to do a little research on the breed. Thank you!

The blue I think is an andalusian pullet, the other two look like Easter eggers or mixes with them, and may be roosters, but I'm not positive.

The two from the farm are about 12-14 weeks old. I have wondered if the tan one is a rooster because it's a bully!!! It's always picking on the other chickens. Is that a sign it's a rooster? I don't know much about roosters. I know there is the pecking order with chickens but sometimes it seems like more then just that. I had to pull the tan one off my black sex link because it wouldn't let her go. It really doesn't like her for some reason.
Young roosters will often chase pullets and attempt to mate them. They will also just pull on their feathers for no reason. Sounds like they are both acting male too. To me they just look male.

I agree with #1 being Blue Andalusian, but disagree on the others. #2 is possibly a production red & brown leghorn cross... and it's a pullet. At 3 months of age, males would have very noticeable wattles. #3 doesn't have the "cheeks" of an easter egger. It looks more like some type of a legbar... perhaps a crossbreed. Notice the streaks forming in the hackles? Just a hunch...

Not all Easter egger's have Cheeks.I have one very similar to the OP Chickens.
