Hi, this is my first post on here
This info may help identify the disease:
I have 22 chickens (4 roosters and 18 hens) and about 32 chicks. I have been dealing with chickens for about 4 years and I free-range them on my 9-acre property. I do not know how old she is but I have had her for at least a year. She is a black copper maran and I had one of my other copper marans die yesterday.
This afternoon I found one of my hens, Evil, sitting on her own in my yard. When I got a cup of scratch to get the chickens into their pen she didn't come like the others. After I got her into the pen, I noticed that she was just standing in one spot and wouldn't eat the chicken scratch. After about a minute, she walked over to the water bowl and started drinking water. After that, I left to go take care of my chicks. When I came back, she was still drinking water. So, I tried to catch her so I could check and see if there was anything wrong. I didn't end up catching her but I was able to see that her vent looked clear but she had white slightly liquidy poop.
Does anyone know what this could be?
