Does Anyone Know What Kind Of Spider This Is? Is It Dangerous?

That is so true RFF. I don't think we have black widows on this side of the mountains. I've heard you only have to watch for them on produce.

Imp- betcha Redhen can climb a tile wall to get away from black widows.

Yeah...some years we have them worse than ever--and if they make it in the house they are near a water source--otherwise, they are outside down by the pond or in the WELL house!

redhen, I agree!! I am sooo incredibly scared of spiders... One time when I was seven I felt something on my leg but thought nothing of it. After a few minutes I looked down and a HUGE black spider was on my leg. I did what is commonly known as the "Spider Dance and Scream" by my mom and dad... They scare me so much! Their webs are pretty, especially when they have the morning dew on them, but the beasties themselves.. *shudders in disgust* Can't stand 'em..

We have friend who just got back from his second tour in Iraq and he said they'd run 10mph and it would seem like they were chasing you--in reality, they were wanting to stand in your shade....but I would have ran like FORREST GUMP away from that thing!!!

What the heck are those things????? They would make me pee my pants!! I've never even heard of a camel spider!
