Does anyone know what this crust is on her eye

This is only 4 days in, just started veterycin and vet Rx. She hangs back away form the flock sometimes and keeps eye shut. Hasn't laid in 4 days. Some have suggested lice or fleas but it looks like crust, not bugs.

It looks like she has bubbles in her eye as well?

Most likely the crust is from discharge. Any symptoms like coughing, sneezing, wheezing, any mucous from the nostrils?

It could be the start of a respiratory illness like Mycoplasma, Infectious Bronchitis or other contagious illness. If she has no other symptoms, it could also be from bacterial/fungal infection like a scratch to the eye or getting debris in it.

Separate her so you can monitor her more closely. Flushing the eye with saline and apply the Veterycin eye ointment to the eye. VetRx is reported to be helpful in some situations, so I would think it would be fine to use.

If she develops further symptoms or starts to decline, then antibiotic treatment may be necessary. First try supportive care (VetRx, cleaning eye) and give her some extra poultry vitamins and protein like egg or tuna in addition to her normal feed. Make sure she is drinking well.
